Last week, thousands of teachers in several regions of England went on strike over pay, pensions and working conditions. Just over a quarter of schools in affected areas were completely closed by the action, organised by the NUT and NASUWT teaching unions.

Girls had a lovely day off school today, conker hunting with my other half then baking cakes when they got back.
