Last week, thousands of teachers in several regions of England went on strike over pay, pensions and working conditions. Just over a quarter of schools in affected areas were completely closed by the action, organised by the NUT and NASUWT teaching unions.

My feet ache. Had migraine all day. But nothing stopped me marching on #TeacherStrike Day. I'm proud to be there.
