The NUT and the NASUWT, the UK’s two biggest teaching unions, have announced plans for regional and national strikes over pay, pensions and working conditions. “If we do not take a stand now to defend the profession, then the consequences for teacher recruitment and education will be disastrous for all,” NUT general secretary Christine Blower said.

We need all public sector workers to go on strike for at least two weeks. This way gove (education secretary Michael Gove) must stand down as they can’t run country.
