SINGLE-SEX Catholic schools in several towns in Northern Ireland could become co-educational colleges in moves supported by the Church. After 11 years of dicussions, the Church is pressing ahead with plans to merge three of its schools in Strabane. Other towns with single-sex schools may follow suit.
