(Photograph) - Science was one of the higher education subjects offered by Paisley University recently as a taster to fourth-year pupils from 24 schools across the west of Scotland, ranging from Islay High to Sanquhar Academy in Dumfries-shire. It is part of th university’s contribution to the GOALS project, which aims to give “greater opportunities for access and learning with skills” to pupils from schools that do not have a tradition of sending leavers on to higher education.
