It is no surprise that Euan Blair will have a journey of eight miles to school; most Church schools take pupils from a wide catchment area. It is no surprise that all applicants and their parents are interviewed; this is a widespread practice and certainly not restricted to grant-maintained schools in the Westminster diocese. It is no surprise to see yet another issue of The TES taking an anti-grant-maintained stance.
As for your caption, “Gowns man”, under the photograph of the London Oratory head, John McIntosh - is this The TES or a daily tabloid newspaper?
