While it comes as no surprise to see that the Scottish Parent Teacher Council is still trying its damnedest to support the Executive’s defamatory and wholly unsubstantiated suggestion that there is a link between home education and child abuse, I am disappointed that you devoted column inches to this drivel (TESS, last week).
It is pathetic that the SPTC cannot attack home education on educational grounds, the evidence being that HE is at least as effective.
