SCHOOLS should scrap work experience, according to one of the Government’s own advisers. Andy Westwood of the Work Foundation and a member of the Government’s workforce development taskforce - said the practice was “marginal” to young people’s education. Schools should be “much smarter” in involving business in the curriculum, he added.
