The Scotland Against Drugs campaign, launched with all-party backing in May, is targeting schools in the autumn with a number of competitions conveying the anti-drugs message.
Events will include what is claimed to be Britain’s first interactive television debate involving secondary pupils, a project for primary pupils to get them to make their own anti-drugs radio show, a poster competition open to pupils, and a songwriting competition for 10-16 year-olds, being run in conjunction with the Scottish School Board Association and the Sun newspaper.
