Have you ever wished parents could pay for school fees and services directly through the school website using credit and debit cards? It’s an obvious idea but education consultant Lynne Taylor seems to be the first to have created a product. ParentPay is available in a variety of packages; for example, ParentPay Central allocates a unique ID to each family and parents choose which payments to make over the internet while ParentPay Remote allows portal managers to make payments on behalf of parents, who authorise them later by telephone or form. The service costs from pound;50 a year depending on the package and in March will be expanded to school shop and online ticket agency ParentPayStore.
