Volleyball is looking to attract more primary teachers into coaching in a bid to increase the playing base across Scotland.

Dundee University will host a two-day level one coaching course on September 22-23 just days into the new Scottish League season.

“It’s designed for primary teachers, active schools co-ordinators and others who may be involved or wish to be involved in introducing volleyball to children or beginners,” says Paul McPate, chairman of the Angus and Dundee District Volleyball Association.

The course will be held in the university’s Institute of Sport and Exercise at 10am, at pound;40 per delegate. Closing date for applications is September 14.
