Children from families where there has been substance misuse and who are on the child protection register have been benefiting from Nature Nurture walks at the Camphill Rudolf Steiner School near Aberdeen. Now teachers accompanying them can receive CPD sessions. The main thing, says organiser Terri Harrison, is teaching them how to build relationships with the children, and to discover the therapeutic and educational potential of outdoor learning.
