In the first exhibition of its kind, “Shared Experience” at the Imperial War Museum, London, explores how individuals in Australia, Britain and Canada endured the conflict. It combines paintings and sculpture from the Australian War Memorial, Canadian War Museum and Imperial War Museum in London. The exhibition runs from March 23-June 25, and features British war artists Paul Nash, Eric Ravilious and Leonard Rosoman. Australian and Canadian artists include Sidney Nolan, Stella Bowen, Russell Drysdale, Miller Brittain, Alex Colville and Pegi Nicol MacLeod. It captures experiences ranging from the Battle of Britain and the horror of Belsen, to the relief of liberation.Free admission. Tel: 020 7416 5320; www.iwm.org.uk
