Teachers called for better mental health support for pupils at yesterday's NASUWT conference in Birmingham.

Union general secretary Chris Keates spoke to Tes about how teachers are having to "pick up the pieces" left by "callous" cuts to public services - and how their own mental health is taking a hit as a result.
