Rolex is looking for original and innovative projects to be entered for its 1998 Awards for Enterprise. Categories include: science and medicine; technology and innovation; and the environment. Winners will receive $50, 000, a gold Rolex chronometer and international publicity, and runners-up $10, 000 and a steel and gold chronometer.

Previous winners include Aldo Lo Curto from Italy for his health education manual for the Indians of Amazonia, and Pierre Morvan of France, who studied ground beetles to understand how biological species are formed.
