“Buenos dias!”

This simple phrase from Spanish language teacher Andrew Ward has gone viral. With infectious enthusiasm the Kansas City highschool teacher started every class this past school year with the Spanish greeting.

His students Bella Gordillo and Taylor Rios secretly recorded his entrance to class every day and then put together a compilation to share.

Apparently, it’s not just his students who love watching Andrew in his teaching element. The video was posted two weeks ago on his personal Facebook page and has since been reposted on several websites with combined views in the several hundreds of thousands.

About his popularity Andrew remains modest and shared this, “I was unaware they were capturing my goofiness, until they stitched it all together and shared it with the class... I realized after watching this -- that I need to buy more shirts.”

How would you have liked a positive, even “goofy” teacher like Andrew Ward teaching your classes?
