A governance and management development programme focussing on self-assessment has been drawn up by the Further Education Funding Council for Wales.
Colleges will be encouraged to use a framework of quality statements on the main elements of governance and management, including strategic planning and financial control. Following self-assessment colleges and the funding council will together draw up action plans if necessary.
