MODERN languages will be taught at 98 primaries in Wales from September.

The three-year project will be co-ordinated by CILT Cymru, on behalf of the Welsh Assembly. Schools will give Year 4, 5 or 6 children one half-hour session for 38 weeks and work with 22 secondaries to improve the take-up of languages at GCSE.
