WELSH Assembly education and lifelong learning minister Jane Davidson was due to promise “significant changes” to lift the bureaucratic burden on teachers in yesterday’s opening speech at the National Education Confeence and Exhibition, Wales Education 2001, in Cardiff. Recommendations from a workload review, led by Mandy Paish, of Tongwynlais primary near Cardiff, will go to the assembly education committee in June.
