What the Dickens: an imposter;Letter

I FEAR you have interviewed not Thomas Gradgrind (TES, August 27) who I believe these days actually works as a consultant to David Blunkett, but an imposter. Mr Gradgrind would have had no time for, or interest in, the personal affairs of Charles Dickens. He would, rather, have been impressed by the number of books he sold, and continues to sell.
