What's Hot?

One of this week's resources encourages students to try green chemistry. Sadly, it doesn't urge them to turn into the Hulk (although if you're looking for a superhero, see the Super schooling resource). But eco-friendly chemists are just as cool, right?

Why is it hot? A thoughtful term overview and detailed scheme of work are supported by lesson plans across subjects linked using superheroes.

What is it? A project investigating whether an eco-friendly synthesis of polystyrene can be found

What is it? A selection of posters featuring words with their definitions and uses

Why is it hot? Eye-catching and plentiful, these posters include tips for pronunciation.

What is it? A presentation, essay plan and worksheets based on Michael Moore's film Capitalism: A Love Story

Who is it for? 14-16s

Why is it hot? An engaging look at a documentary, with resources to prepare students for an assessment piece.


8. Tte to orteil

What is it? A resource for naming body parts in French

Who is it for? 7-11s

Why is it hot? This useful, fun resource also works well as a starter to refresh memories.

What is it? A comprehensive planning and resource pack for teaching maths

Who is it for? 6-7s

Why is it hot? With termly and weekly plans in PDF and Word format, this is a time-saving resource that includes supporting worksheets.

What is it? A PowerPoint about atomic structure, with resources to support learning

Who is it for? 14-16s

Why is it hot? This informative presentation contains worksheets and diagrams for lessons on atoms.
