Walsall Museum and Art Gallery

“Me and You”, an interactive art and history exhibition for ages three upwards, continues until August 30. Children can play with low-tech, art-based games, masks, puzzles, fuzzy felt pictures and high-tech touch screen computer programs, make artworks to take home, listen to stories, dress up, role-play and meet and work with artists. Hove Museum and Art Gallery, Brighton: “Model Children”, a free exhibition of paintings of children at home, work and play hung at child level, runs until September 27. Gallery activities include workshops, jigsaw puzzles, drawing and feely boxes. “Forensic: bags of evidence”, a debut exhibition from SCRATCH (interrelated projects run by 18 to 30-year-olds) until October 4, looks at museum artefacts through young people’s eyes. Westminster Libraries, London W1: Children’s campaign, “The Big Read”, runs until September 6, inspired by Mary Hoffman’s ‘Amazing Grace’, about a young girl discovering she can become anything she wants through the power of stories.
