Glasgow Caledonian University is still recovering after its days in the media limelight, but it helps to have a sense of humour.
Ian Johnston, who had been heading up the University for Industry, was drafted in last year to replace the controversial Stan Mason, booted out, among other things, for using two official cars for personal use. An industrial tribunal ordered the yoonie to reinstate him, causing a tad of confusion in the hierarchy.
“We must be the only university in the country to have three parking spaces for the principal,” Johnston cracks.
