Reading “Sport can bring out the bullies” (TESpro, 12 October) and reflecting on David Cameron’s plans for a new PE curriculum (announced at the Olympics) left me confused. Didn’t we do well at the Olympics? Why does Mr Cameron wish to change that? Does he want Britain to perform poorly at the next? Let’s look at the evidence: the present PE curriculum has done rather well, producing so many winners. Let’s celebrate the success of the curriculum and those who teach it and let’s not change it.
