I would like to congratulate the FE Focus team for an excellent piece of investigative journalism that put a spotlight on the activities of Roger Ward, chief executive of the Association of Colleges .
One hopes that now that you have taken a more proactive approach to uncovering sleaze in further education, you will continue to help those of us in this sector who have taken great risks with our personal careers by publicising occurrences of abuse of managerial powers.
Perhaps if whistle-blowers were protected by law, contrary to the AOC’s wishes, many more unethical practices would be revealed.
