SIXSTUDENTS from St Louise’s Comprehensive College in Belfast are the national winner of the 199899 Our School on the Internet competition run by the skill IT initiative. Entrants had to produce a set of pages for an intranet that would be useful for other pupils in a school. The winning team received an Akhter multimedia PC and Microsoft software for the school. Regional winners were Elmgrove Primary, Belfast; Firth School, Orkney; Gleniffer High, Paisley; Creunant Primary, Neath; Charsfield Primary, Norfolk; and St Olaves School, Kent.
