Get ready for the mother of all storms as New York is engulfed by a massive tidal wave then freezes over in Roland Emerich’s chilling and tense film The Day After Tomorrow. A cautionary reminder that the threat posed by global warming is here and now, the film follows the progress of climatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid), whose warning of imminent global catastrophe comes just too late, as he sets out to rescue his 17-year-old son, Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal), trapped inside the Manhattan public library.

With special effects that will blow you away, The Day After Tomorrow was recently released to rent and buy on DVD and VHS by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, and we have five copies of the DVD to give away. For a chance of winning one, just send your name and address, in a message marked Day After Tomorrow offer, to the address on the right. The first five names drawn on October 28 will win.
