Wired-up Wales tops the agenda

Wales’ strategy for ICT will be the subject of the opening keynote lecture at the second National Education Conference and Exhibition for Wales at the Cardiff International Arena May 24-25. Neil Harries’ talk will detail the planned ICT developments in Wales for the next five years, and highlight the need for relevant materials for teachers and children and the expansion of the “knowledge economy” ithin Wales. On the second day the keynote lecture, “The Digital Curriculum in Wales”, by Eleri Wyn Lewis and Menna Richards, will promote the BBC’s proposed digital curriculum. The event will be packed with workshops, seminars and lectures.
