After hearing a “breaking news” item on the BBC about renaming the Department for Children, Schools and Families - back to the Department for Education - I saw its website had already been changed and signs were being replaced. At a time of pressure on public expenditure, do we really need millions of pounds to be spent on a rebranding exercise to satisfy someone’s ego?
