YOUNG women family doctors have helped to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies by a quarter, according to research from the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. <> Dr Julia Hippsley-Cox looked at 836 practices in the Trent area and found that the rate was reduced by 25 per cent where the female doctor was under 36.
