MOST fathers would not seek help from a family centre as they feel ostracised by the all-female environment, a study has found.

Dr Deborah Ghate studied 13 centres, which run toddler groups and parenting classes, for he Joseph Rowntree Foundation. She found that more than half did not employ any male staff and those who did had only one.
