We commend Robert Brown, our Deputy Education Minister. A particularly exotic parliamentary question came his way last month from the SNP's Jim Mather, asking whether there were any plans "to teach the concept of perpetual process improvement in primary schools in order to create increased receptiveness to learning, as suggested by Professor Umit Bititci and others"?

Brown: "No."
