I read with interest your article “Hard times continue at beleaguered academy” (16 March). Perhaps, rather than persist with his vicious, unfair and frankly demoralising attacks on schools and their hard-pressed leaders, Sir Michael Wilshaw should put his energies into turning this school around as their new headteacher and give us all a break. After all, he claims to be an expert on improving schools, does he not?
