Tell Me What You See (Bloomsbury Pounds 7.99) is a concertina with two tales back-to-back - Goldilocks on one side, Little Red Riding Hood (above) on the reverse. To untangle the stories, children have to crack codes, with symbols for porridge bowls, bears, wolf, grandma and so on. The possibilities for narrative exploration and embellishment are endless and the concertina also unfolds into a classroom frieze - but to get maximum benefit you would have to buy two.
