TO Ian Whitwham thank you, thank you, for your inspired and inspiring piece on threshold payment applications (Friday magazine, June 9).
It means a lot to those of us who decided not to apply to find someone who can so passionately express our feelings about the process and its cnsequences and that there is room for such opinions in The TES.
Among the comments made to me after I had decided not to apply was “we’ll just have to accept that we’ve lost that battle”. Which battle was that then?
