A centre dedicated to Ted Wragg, the popular educationist, has opened at Exeter college. The building caters for students with learning difficulties and includes a mock flat where teenagers can learn how to live independently.
Professor Wragg, who was director of Exeter university’s school of education and a TES columnist for 25 years, died in November 2005. Joy Mosley, head of foundation studies at Exeter college, said: “He was so supportive, especially of young people with learning difficulties.”
