(Photograph) - Yasmeen Ahmad, a former pupil at Morgan Academy in Dundee, was voted Scotland’s top female computing student this week. Her award, sponsored by Edinburgh-based IT software company Axios Systems, is intended to encourage more girls to take up careers in computing. She and two runners-up, Rhona Lees from Larkhall Academy and Alexandra Gemmill from Glasgow Academy, will now represent Scotland in the UK finals of the competition, to be held in London in December.
