Teaching staff at Cardiff’s Mount Stuart Primary School kept the winning of a major Gold ArtsMark for their creative currculum from their headteacher, Sharon Randall-Smith. They wanted to surprise her with a “retirement present worth remembering”. Year 5 teacher Shubham Aziz was also awarded an ArtsMark lapel pin for her contribution to the arts by the city council’s creative arts support team at the Howardian Education Centre last Friday. Disappearing Footprints, a poetry book by Cardiff pupils, was also launched at the event.
