If you want your class to find out how magnets help us to hear music, what a gorilla’s armpit smells like and what your body temperature should be, then a series of cards from the DFEE promoting the Year of Science may be what you need.

The 17 interactive “smart” cards not only look good but reinforce the point that science is all around us all the time. A teacher ooklet explains how to use the cards and the scientific principles focused on. Discussion points are suggested to help build lessons around them.

The DFEE is launching the Year of Science in September and aims to improve knowledge of the subject among 10 to 19-year-olds.
