You can go far without skills

Whatever the truth about the number of people with literacy and numeracy problems, and civil servants' ability to count them, it is reassuring to know that bad English does not necessarily rule out finding employment in the education world.

A bunch of basic skills materials was recently sent in a package from the DfES addressed to "The Manager, City of Bristol College, Hartcliffe Sight."
