The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland’s annual spring concert at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, on April 11, will not involve the orchestra itself but provide a showcase for the classical ensembles which come under its aegis. The National Children’s Orchestra of Scotland, featuring its youngest players, will be conducted by Julian Clayton, and Garry Walker will conduct its most senior ensemble, Camerata Scotland, which aims to fill the gap between NYOS and a professional career.

Camerata Scotland will also play at the Webster Theatre in Arbroath on April 10 and the Corran Halls in Oban on April 12.
