Young people are becoming increasingly interested in politics, according to research.
A poll of 500 people aged 16 to 20 found that 81 per cent felt strongly about issues such as crime and education. Three-quarters said they discussed current affairs with their friends and family, with global terrorism heading the list of “big issues”.
