PUPILS are to get the chance to give ministers their views on the Government’s overhaul of secondary education. The Green Paper sets out plans for a distinction A-level and an overarching diploma, and outlines proposals to allow teenagers to sit GCSEs early and take more vocational qualifications.

It will be sent to young people’s groups and youth councils and is available online at www.dfes.gov.ukyoungpeople
