BETTvisitor AIBO is an autonomous robot from Sony that displays emotion and learns by communicating and interacting with humans. The robot dog’s name means “pal” in Japanese and was so popular when it first went on sale in Japan in June last year that 3,00 were snapped up in just 20 minutes. AIBO is now available in Europe, but it doesn’t come cheap. Should you want to part with pound;1,600 (plus VAT) to own one, place your order at the website between February 15 and 25.
