This job hunting special issue of First Appointments is packed with the information you need to sell yourself to schools. It can’t be all work, though. First Appointments is throwing a party in London just after Easter so that you PGCE and BEd students, graduate trainees and newly qualifieds can meet up, get to know each other, talk school, or avoid talking school, whichever you prefer, and hopefully make some new friends. If a few of you would like to eye each other up with a nod to potential romance, that’ll be good too. Details are on page 19.
