Zarr Internet Services has introduced a new slant to the burgeoning online revision market. Its online business revision service offers a five-day revision course run by an A-level business studies examiner. It costs pound;10 to subscribe to the course, which includes daily lessons and set questions that have to be completed by subscribers. Completed questions will be assessed individually with feedback that should help students prepare for their exams. The course is geared towards the AEB Alevel and AS syllabus.
The Zarr site also offers students the opportunity to buy and sell essays, presentations and notes. If their work is downloaded, they will receive two-thirds of the pound;5 download fee. Teachers are also invited to submit material. Be warned though, Zarr only sends out cheques when accounts have accumulated pound;25, and it doesn’t say what happens to the money if you don’t get the required number of downloads.
