Back in November, we asked schools to join in with the TES Christmas festivities and design our 2016 Christmas card. Now, as Christmas trees spring up around the country, presents are wrapped and mince pies devoured, it’s time to announce the winning entry.
We had turkeys, wise men, dancing Christmas trees, reindeers with earrings, snowmen and of course the man himself, Santa Claus. The number and quality of the entries really blew us all away and it was one of the toughest decisions that our editor Ann Mroz and art director Alex Morgan have had to make all year.
But there can only be one winner...
In no particular order, the runners up are:
Sarah, Christ Church School, Brixton
Martha, Crackeley Hall School, Kenilworth
Sian, Kimbolton School, Huntingdon
Morven, Biggar High School
And the winner is...
Tabitha Buxton from Caerleon Comprehensive School!
Congratulations to Tabitha, who has won a £50 book voucher for herself and a £100 Marks & Spencer voucher for her school. Her winning design will be sent out to all TES subscribers tomorrow with the new issue of the magazine, and grace thousands of mantlepieces across the country.
Thank you to every pupil who designed cards and every school that entered, and season’s greetings from everyone at TES.
