The Dundee Contemporary Arts centre is running art workshops for 8- to 12-year-olds over the spring school holidays. Led by two artists and designers, children will explore a different technique and material each day, inspired by the exhibition at the DCA, the print gallery, the craft items in the shop and the building. The workshops will run from 10.30am-12.30pm on April 12-15 and cost pound;3 a child.

Animation workshops will be held for 11- to 15-year-olds at the end of the month, on April 30-May 2. Led by Bruce Husband, they will be taught to use step frame techniques to produce their own celebrity spoof TV show.
