Laugharne VCP School in Carmarthenshire, Wales, celebrates becoming the 500th Fairtrade school in the UK. The community school organised a range of activities such as Fairtrade bake-offs, making up a Fairtrade song and creating a Fairtrade-inspired tuck shop.

With only his second attempt at the sport, Durham School's Philip Smith has become regional under-13 indoor shot-put victor.

Hereford Sixth Form College choral scholars visit Cambridge to give a joint evensong with Selwyn College choir. The group took part in workshops at Trinity, St John's and King's colleges.

Nottingham Trent University is bringing careers into schools with an inflatable classroom, which can be transformed into work environments including a theatre, a design studio and justice courts.
