Laugharne VCP School in Carmarthenshire, Wales, celebrates becoming the 500th Fairtrade school in the UK. The community school organised a range of activities such as Fairtrade bake-offs, making up a Fairtrade song and creating a Fairtrade-inspired tuck shop.

With only his second attempt at the sport, Durham School's Philip Smith has become regional under-13 indoor shot-put victor.

Hereford Sixth Form College choral scholars visit Cambridge to give a joint evensong with Selwyn College choir. The group took part in workshops at Trinity, St John's and King's colleges.
