Year 6 kids snogging each other

Here is just taste of what users in TES online forums are saying this week.

Join one of the many lively debates at:

Hannah31: I'm teaching a year 6 class for the first time in September, and their Year 5 teacher tells me they were all getting into relationships before the summer. Also some were witnessed snogging behind the bike sheds, but nothing was done about it because it was the end of term. What is and isn't acceptable in a 10 or 11-year-old?

Trinity0097: We have a no canoodling rule, which we enforce if pupils start to get a bit frisky, this is only for Year 8s though, doesn't normally happen so young in our middle school. Punishment is automatic lunchtime detention!
