NATIONAL guidelines on adoption are expected to be introduced after a Downing Street summit of social services managers, adoption agencies and children’s charities.
The Prime inister called the summit as part of efforts to improve adoption which he has warned are being hampered by red tape and lack of co-ordination between local authorities.
